Where does my $5 actually go?
$4.00 (80%) goes into that month's artist pool. The remaining $1.00 covers PayPal fees and keeping the lights on. At month's end, the most-played artist wins the entire pool.
Why do I subscribe here instead of in the app?
App stores and Roku take up to 30% of in-app purchases. Subscribing here through PayPal keeps that money out of their pockets and in the artist pool. Your login works everywhere — app and both Roku channels.
What counts as a "play"?
A play counts toward the pool once you've listened for 30 seconds or more. Skips don't pad anyone's numbers.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes — cancel in your PayPal account in two clicks. You keep access until the end of the billing month. No phone calls, no guilt trips.
What can I watch and listen to?
The Amplified Metal app streams audio from hard rock and metal bands — including the full Frontiers Records catalog. The Hard Rock & Metal TV Roku channel plays the videos. Anchored Action & Drama TV is our separate public-domain movie & TV channel.
